Hard working, dependable leadership for you and your family.

"Rebecca Millett will be an effective advocate for all the people of State Senate District 7.  She understands the importance of education to our state's future and will work for excellence in all of our schools."

-Former Maine U.S. Senator and Special Envoy George Mitchell

"Rebecca has the qualities that would make her a superb State Senator.  She is an effective advocate, proven leader and a dedicated public servant.  She will fight couragesously for our schools, jobs and the environment."

-Former Maine U.S. Representative Tom Allen

"These are extraordinarily challenging times in Augusta, so we need thoughtful and balanced legislators who can navigate through extremely difficult decisions. I have known Rebecca for many years, and she is a tough leader who will fight for what is right for our community to protect the interests and livelihoods of our citizens. "

—Representative Jane Eberle, District 123 (South Portland, Cape Elizabeth)

"I am delighted that Rebecca Millett is running for the seat I held in the Maine State Senate.  Rebecca is a leader.  She will strongly oppose the extreme LePage agenda and will stand up and speak out as Senator for District 7."

- Former State Senator Larry Bliss, District 7

Two years ago as a candidate for State Senate, I pledged to work to get Maine back on track by using my strong background in business and public service.  Progress has been made, but to continue to move Maine forward, this is more work to be done.  We need to continue to push for economic development that creates secure jobs, strong schools that educate and prepare all Maine children, protection of our natural resources, and programs to help our most vulnerable citizens. I promise to advocate for the issues you care about and look forward to discussing your thoughts and concerns in the coming months.

If elected, I will:
• Fight for fair public school funding
• Promote strong, long-term support for Maine’s small businesses
• Safeguard our state’s treasured and vital natural resources and
• Protect a woman’s right to choose
• Support alternative energy sources and efficiency efforts
• Ensure critical programs to protect our vulnerable friends and neighbors
